Q. Do Christians need to obey civil authorities?
A. Civil authorities come from God to establish peace and security. Our duty is to pray for them and the
difficult decisions they must make daily and allow our support to be a witness to the community.
Rm. 13:1, I Tim. 2:1-2, I Pt. 2:13
Q. How can we believe that “all authority comes from God,” when ungodly values and corruption are obvious?
A. Our Christian support is not towards a specific person, but rather the institution they represent. We are to pray for and support institutions which bring peace and health to our regions.
Q. Is there ever a scenario when civil disobedience is okay?
A. Yes! When government requires a behavior contrary to God’s Word, it’s time to speak up. Ex. 1:17, Dan. 3:18, Dan. 6:10, Acts 4:19, 5:29
Q. How can a ministry which believes in divine healing cancel services due to a sickness?
A. BMI’s decision to postpone ministry events is not based on fear. We are supporting our civil authorities’ attempt to control COVD-19 in the natural realm, while we, as believers, destroy this evil spirit of infirmity with our faith. II Cor. 10:4. Eph. 6:16
Q. What should believers be doing during this difficult season?
A. Resist fear and stand on God’s Word for protection and healing! Use social media platforms to build faith, follow the natural recommendations of hand washing and social distancing and enjoy your family.

“Submit yourself for the Lord’s sake to every authority …” I Pt. 2:13
